HR Manager

Location: Largo, FL

We are seeking a Human Resources Manager who is both strategic and hands-on in managing the Human Resources function at 1-800 Accountant . This role is critical in executing and overseeing all people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement where necessary.

Location:

Full time in Largo office

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Senior Leadership and Management to align people initiatives with business goals in an office location comprised of predominantly Inside Sales/Call Center staff

  • Handle all aspects of a busy HR department, including administrative daily tasks, while supporting Management and Employees

  • Be a true HR Partner to Key Stakeholders both in office and remote

  • Actively engage in assessing the overall morale and well-being of the employees

  • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced office environment, effectively leading Change Management initiatives and HR leadership with agility

  • Develop innovative HR solutions and improve processes using HRIS and other related systems

  • Lead projects and achieve buy-in while driving execution and achievement of desired results

  • Develop and implement effective employee relations, retention, and reward programs that enhance workplace culture and boost engagement.

  • Ensure time clock closers are completed by end of week every week

  • Work closely with HR counterpart, Learning & Development and Recruitment Teams on various ongoing initiatives

  • Assist and support Management on all Employee Performance issues including Employee Performance Coaching, Corrective Actions and overall Performance Management

  • Oversee and support HR/Office Coordination with daily office need

  • Run reports inside HRIS system

  • Serve as the primary contact for ad hoc facilities management projects

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

  • 5+ years human resource business partner experience

  • Experience supporting hourly employee client groups with employee populations of 200+

  • Knowledge of hourly/salary payroll functionality as well as multi-state labor laws

  • Ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain a high degree of confidentiality

  • Ability to handle ambiguity, and keep an open line of communication with all staff and employees

  • Strong internal and external customer service focus

  • Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, independent judgment and be a self-starter who works with integrity while also being a strong team player

  • Must have previous experience using HRIS (ADP and Clear Co preferred)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in coaching managers on enhancing employee performance

  • Prior experience supporting large hourly employee groups (call center environment)
